What is sheet-shelter® used for?

The great adaptability of the structure allows the building to suit any fields of application. More precisely, sheet-shelters® are widespread in:

• Industry. For the extension of sheltered production space and the protection of sensitive goods, regardless of the activity. Steel structures may also operate as a storage for working equipment and vehicles.
• Farming and agro-food: Sheet metal shelter is a good solution for agriculture, allowing the protection of crops and products as well as animals.
• Leisure activities, sports and commercial sector. Industrial shelter by Giesse is perfect for sports, leisure and marketing activities which may require a covered space to schedule events, exhibitions or competitions.

Steel buildings – structure

Steel buildings are designed and manufactured considering customer instructions. In particular, the galvanized structure with galvanized or coated sheet covering is available in different sizes.

Standard sheet-shelter® is provided with a gable roof (or single slope roof if necessary) and gutters to allow water flow.

As far as the technical features are concerned, the structure is in galvanized steel with bolted joints, whose sizes can vary depending on the project. Side and front walls are made of galvanized or coated sheet metal, while the openings come in the form of doorways with gutters that cover the external perimeter.

Some extra elements to be added to the structure are available, e.g., windows and skylights in translucent polycarbonate. The customer may select the most suitable closing system among our range of industrial doors.

The safety of the structure is guaranteed by anchor bolts sunk into the foundation and by snow barriers.
